Overview
TutorDesk is an offline-first coaching management application designed for individual tutors and small coaching centers.
We respect your privacy and are committed to keeping your data secure.
Data Collection and Usage
TutorDesk does not collect or store your data on its own servers by default.
All data entered into the app — including student names, mobile numbers, attendance records, tests, and fee details — is stored locally on your device.
Internet Usage
TutorDesk works primarily offline for managing students, attendance, fees and tests.
Some optional features require an internet connection, including:

Future cloud-based features (when enabled by the user)
StudentDesk Sync (Data Sharing Feature)
TutorDesk offers an optional feature called StudentDesk Sync, which allows tutors to share academic data with their students through the StudentDesk app.
When this feature is used:

Selected academic information such as student details, batches, attendance, announcements, tests, marks and related academic records may be securely synchronized using Firebase Cloud Firestore.

Data is shared only after tutor approval

Each student can access only their own data

No public access to data is provided
This feature is fully controlled by the tutor and is not enabled automatically.
Data Sharing
TutorDesk does not share your data with third parties for advertising or analytics.
Data is only transmitted when using the StudentDesk Sync feature, and solely for the purpose of enabling student access to their academic information.
TutorDesk does not sell or share personal information for advertising purposes.
Permissions
TutorDesk may request permission to:
• Photos and media – to attach images and documents.
• Storage / Document access – to create and restore backups.
• Notifications – to remind you about backups, attendance and other important events.
Data Backup and Restore
TutorDesk supports both manual and automatic backup features.
Backup files are stored only in locations selected by the user. TutorDesk does not upload backup files to our servers.
Security

Synced data is securely transmitted and stored using trusted cloud infrastructure (Firebase)

Access to synced data is restricted to approved users only
Google Play Billing
TutorDesk Pro subscriptions are processed securely through Google Play Billing.
We do not collect or store your payment card information. Billing, renewals and cancellations are managed by Google Play.
Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated in future versions. Updates will be reflected in the app.
